We wanted to quickly update current Pavlok Rise backers and those considering supporting the campaign. First, we want to say thank you to the 250+ current backers who are literally supporting the future of Pavlok. We couldn’t do this without you.
Since we announced the campaign last week, we’ve received hundreds of messages, comments, and emails, with one common theme: “This sounds interesting.. but what EXACTLY is Pavlok Rise?”
After carefully reflecting on this feedback, we believe we can do a much better job of communicating our campaign.
Moving forward, we’ll be making a few key changes with regard to branding and marketing of our current campaign. And tomorrow, June 1st, marks the official (re)launch of the campaign with our updated branding and share clearly the benefits of our latest offering.
While we encourage you to give the updated campaign a read, here are a few of the key points of the new changes.
Moving forward campaign backers will be supporting our latest product “Pavlok 2” not “Pavlok Rise.”
While Pavlok Rise will continue to be developed and available to ALL backers, in all future communications, Pavlok Rise will refer to the Pavlok app that helps you build a powerful morning routine and not the wearable itself.
The Pavlok 2 wearable presents a significant upgrade over the original Pavlok and Shock Clock, as we’ve improved the hardware substantially. The new hardware allows the Pavlok 2 to KNOW when you perform certain actions and will become “smarter” as more integrations are added.
We did our best to reflect the changes in our campaign page to be as clear as possible. We wanted to be completely transparent about the direction Pavlok’s heading and hope this gives you a better idea of whether or not Pavlok 2 is right for you.
If you have any questions, I’m more than happy to answer them!
Current Backers: Please note, while we are rebranding Pavlok Rise to Pavlok 2 — you will be receiving everything originally promised. This change in branding does not affect our future product development or features promised.

P.S. Wareable wrote up an excellent explanation of how we surveyed our users, identified our mistakes, and recreated an entire campaign in a matter of days. Check out the article here --- I'll be mentioning it again in the next update as well.
